Today I left it til 17:54 to go out - well, it was warm and no ice, what the heck. Not so often that I get to leave it that late, but the truth is I had little choice with a busy day. I took all my stuff home, having carried it around 2 hospitals on a sight-seeing tour of Oxford, then turned it around very qucikly at home.
Mainly because I didn't really fancy it, but 3 miles is only 3 miles! Right. I was going to do a very straightforward out-and-back to the bottom of a nearby hill and enjoy the challenge of going up the hill as the 'prize.' When I finally got out, in shorts for the first time this year, I actually started enjoying it and extending the route to a circular loop, which I thought was going to be longer than it turned out to be. Felt very freeing tonight, although I was glad to get back and didn't want any longer tonight.
